A good solid website requires a mix of form and function. The website for our film SCREAM PARK meets both exponentially, and the design, look, feel, and usefulness is everything we could have hoped for. We’ve collected compliments from day one and they keep coming. We owe this and much more to Rough Ride Creations, who has done an amazing job for our film’s promotion. As I send out emails to backers or people associated with the film, I’m proud to stamp the web address below the film’s title in the email.
The graphic design of the site is better than we could have ever of drawn up ourselves. It’s the brainchild of my somewhat vague descriptions and hopes for what it would look like and the artful hand of Rough Ride’s designers. Together, it makes for a hell of a great look. We haven’t had one person ho-hum the look of the site, let alone have an issue with it.
Rough Ride’s team was even able to make the transition from our old site to their new one painless, grafting the new design over the old one so all of the site controls and function remained intact. The team even went so far as to tease us along the way, dropping a graphic or two in our inbox to show us a glimpse into the final look. With each clipping of art we got giddier and reached flabbergasted at the final product. The Word Press frame still worked, and RRC had thrown in some new plug-ins and bells and whistles for the site, making it more efficient and cooler.
Lastly, I have to draw attention to the ease of working with the team. At no point was there ever concern that this wouldn’t get done, or couldn’t get done, or that we perhaps had gone to the wrong place. From the first chat with Briana I knew we had come to the right place -- and the final product solidified that choice. From their tools to their knowhow, the company remained impressive and professional and I would happily work with them again.
