Pay Per Click (PPC)

What is PPC?

When a web user searches for a particular search term, the search engine returns a list of organic search results, along with a list of targeted pay-per-click (PPC) ads, which appear on the top and right-hand sides of the search engine results page (SERP). Advertisers are charged a price for these sponsored listings each time a web user clicks on one of them (hence 'pay per click').

We provide creative PPC advertising strategies defined by relevance and clarity.

Benefits of a short-term PPC program include:

Conversion rates can be very high with PPC programs, as web users who click on the ads are motivated by the relevant and highly targeted keywords and ad text in the ads. A "successful conversion" can be defined as any time a web user takes a certain action: filling out a web form, making a purchase, clicking an ad, etc. Conversions are able to be tracked via analytics or other tracking methods.

Top organic, or natural, search engine listings take work and time to achieve and a strategic PPC program can be a great temporary tool to promote a new product or service in tandem with website and offsite promotion. By using Google AdWords, or one of the other PPC services offered by Yahoo or Bing, your ad will appear in the sponsored listings that appear alongside organic listings, by agreeing to pay every time someone clicks on one of your ads.

Short-term PPC programs, if managed correctly, are reasonably affordable and can greatly increase your visibility, targeted traffic and conversion rates.

We suggest that PPC programs are short-term and that an organic search engine optimization program is implemented at the same time as PPC, with the goal being a gradual weaning off of PPC as organic results improve.
